Seeing that this is our last blog post for 2013, it seems only befitting that we reflect on the past year and look forward to what the new year has in store for us. So many good things has happened for Computer Guys this year and it would not have been possible without you, our dear clients and partners. Thus, we would like to start off by saying a big thank you for your continuous support and faith in us.

For Computer Guys, 2013 was a year of innovation. We have further improved our enterprise level solutions, CG Network and CG Backup. We are also proud to announce our upcoming custom-built storage server, CG Storage. It utilises a Linux operating system and can handle a load of more than 100TB. In other words, CG Storage comes with the capabilities of a large file server, but without the hefty price tag.

We are in the midst of deploying the CG Storage device for some of our clients, so do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in getting the same cost-effective solution for your organisation!

Earlier this year we’ve also started our own Render Farm system, which proved to be a hit with our client companies who are in the architecture or design industry. With this system, our clients are then free to concentrate on their work and achieve greater productivity levels.

Changes were also made back here at the Computer Guys headquarters in order for us to serve you better. We have upgraded our remote support system so that more system administrators are able to remote into our customer’s workstations at any given time. We have also installed a VOIP phone support system to better manage incoming calls!

It has been a year of growth for Computer Guys, and we can’t wait to see what other opportunities the new year will bring. Before we wrap up the last blog post for this year, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy holiday season, and may the new year bring you health, happiness and prosperity!
